Brain Candy 30 Vitamin D3 And Sleep

There is some recent research that shows a connection between Vitamin D3 and sleep. Vitamin D supplements have been a big part of my life ever since covid19 was first called a pandemic in December of 2019. Early on, I knew that I needed to boost my immune system, because earlier in 2019 I had almost died of pneumonia. So, I got some vitamin C, D, Zinc with Elderberry. Since that time I have now had the healthiest time of my adult life, having not been sick in any way for two years.

Knocking It Out

If I had the slighest runny nose, congestion or the first tingle of a sore throat, I would immediately take another dose of those three things. That's probably happened 20 times in two years time. 80% of people who have had covid are vitamin D deficient. 40% of Americans are deficient. Another 75% of people who get covid are overweight. I have also lost 35 pounds.

Hidden Benefits

What I didn't realize until now, is that the supplements and weight loss, were helping my sleep. Last night I got a full 8 hours, and for me, I think that's maximum. I don't want to regularly sleep more than that, unless I'm really exhausted. Here in 2021, I have now improved my sleep by 1:15 per night. That's major. My pain is down, clarity is up. Mood is up, depression is down. It's easier to get up in the morning and up out of a chair. Research Vitamin D!
