Brain Candy 7: Killing, One Bite At A Time

We eat too many processed foods, chemicals, and things that aren’t even really meant for human consumption. Right now I want to challenge you to stay away from all forms of fast food. It’s well known that almost every form of fast food is treated with aluminum, strange forms of sodium, and there are tricks to the labeling of packages that allow “natural flavors” when combined with other substances to have the same effect as monosodium glutamate. I don’t know about you, but I can almost instantly sense when I have consumed MSG, as I feel bloated, thirsty, foggy in my mind and an aching gut, even after fine dining at a nice restaurant. My wife and I have stopped going to a few particular restaurants that we formerly loved, because we would feel ill afterward. It took a while for us to talk about it, because we didn’t want to spoil it for the others. This brings up the social aspect of food.

Wrecking The Party

Most folks do not want to be the party pooper, spoiling the fun of others. They would rather compromise the health and vitality of that person, rather than confront very poor food choices.
